A lovely evening in a unique setting.

Beautifully decorated both inside and out, we loved the vibe at Gigi's. We sat on the porch and noticed all the Southern details such as the chandeliers draped with Spanish moss and their sign with flowing water. Our server Natalie, a recent PSU grad, was terrific and made sure to take care of us. We started with their chipotle deviled eggs which were great to share as there were 4. The onion soup was also delicious and not overly salty or cheesy. Gigi's Signature Shrimp and Grits had plenty of blackened shrimp, and the tomato and wilted spinach added to the grits although I would have liked a little more spice/heat. The Mascarpone Ravioli were also a hit as was the Bayou Blackened Steak.

Absolute perfect brunch spot.

A ways away from Downtown State College but not too far this gem is an absolute perfect brunch spot but more than that it's a great restaurant. With beautiful decor and the outdoor space is perfect on a warm day this space is great for any occasion. We had a rather large party and we're placed in the outdoor area which converted easily into an indoor/outdoor space when the ceiling fans were turned on and the auto shades raised revealing a cute open air garden space. The brunch and lunch/dinner menu had so many great options it was hard to choose. But a suggestion try the streudel or friend green tomato eggs benedict you will not be disappointed. Their starter options all caused us to raise an eyebrow with excitement. The staff was friendly and wore a smile even with such a large party they were excellent no issues with orders and everyone says they can't wait to return to State College and most importantly have brunch at Gigi's

This lovely restaurant has class and sophistication.

I was looking for a place to break the tedium of college town food. Located just outside of State College this lovely restaurant has class and sophistication, yet not so foofoo that we "ordinary folks" can show up in casual clothes and not feel uncomfortable. Outdoor seating for casual gatherings, with a tented area for dining, indoor pub-style high-top tables, or classy seating options. The menu offers a variety of Southern/Cajun food with options for all tastes and dietary needs.
